ME: Hi, I’m Nicola👋 , thanks for coming.

YOU: SO WHAT IS IT THAT YOU DO, EXACTLY?

ME: I'm a creative director, art director, illustrator, and brand designer.

​

YOU: BUT WHAT DO YOU ACTUALLY DO - LIKE IN A DAY?

​

ME: I drink coffee, come up with ad ideas, design logos, develop brand identities, eat soup, give presentations, attend video shoots, design billboards, illustrate murals, you know - the usual.

​​

YOU: WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT YOUR JOB?

​

ME: The collaborative process of coming up with ideas is my favourite part of the job. I love to work with a team and brainstorm the wildest, weirdest, best and boldest ideas until we hit one that gets us really excited. One that gives us that feeling like we're on to something big. 

​

And then we try to come up with 10 more that make us feel that exact same way.

YOU: WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT... NOT YOUR JOB?

​

ME: In addition to making ads I've made a couple of cute kids, I'm also a ramen soup enthusiast (see my insta grid & hit me up), I coach a U11 girls softball team, I can run a 10K but usually just go for 5, in high school I played the trumpet in an R&B band and I recently discovered I can do that Russian squat-kick dance for almost 15 seconds.

YOU: ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD KNOW ABOUT YOU?

ME: I love to illustrate and have illustrated a children's book and several murals. I'm always open to illustration work in any form.
