BRAND DESIGN
Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo wanted to break perceptions and show people that there is much more than the big oil sands and transient camp life in the region. We first designed a logo that highlighted the region's location in Alberta, making it clear how much 'backyard' we would be talking about. We then developed a colour palette to represent the scenery people would discover. Finally, through a lens shaped like the region, we boasted pride of place on all levels in a range of campaign pieces to inspire residents to love their home even more and new comers to live, work and play in FMWB.
